In MX-Client the feature of run-time personalization is implemented in order to improve the flexibility of user interface appearance. It ensures personalization of all grid controls, individual user interfaces and reports.
Management
Any kind of personalization can be stored. Stored personalization settings can then be attached to individual user, group of users, users with certain application role, users logged on specific workplace and users on specific workstation. It is possible to define whether the user has access to certain personalization and whether this personalization is the default one. All this is managed in Personalization Directory with clear and simple to use editor.
Any personalization settings added to a user can be accessed through Personalization Directory in Quick Access Toolbar.
Personalization Directory
Personalization Directory is used to change the layout of user interfaces, grids and reports. This tool contains all previously stored versions of layouts of individual controls. This functionality makes it possible for the currently logged user to view the list of his stored layouts and to switch between them on the fly.
Each layout version can also be specified as the default layout. Layouts visible in the layout repository can be easily copied, moved or deleted at any time in the control panel.
