Each profile has several settings which enable, the administrator of the system, to configure each profile so that MX-Client is even more customized in its behaviour and appearance. Using this user interface it is possible to attach every user account to a previously created profile.
Each user account can belong to only one profile. If user does not belong to any profile it is a member of the default one.
Existing User Accounts
Existing user accounts are located in the list in section Existing User Accounts. Accounts are grouped by the first character of its name. By default groups for the first three letters are displayed. To access more groups use configuration buttons at the bottom of the list.
To view the information about a specific account, select it in the list. Personal information is displayed in the section Personal Information on the right part of the screen. To see the meaning and purpose of the information displayed see chapter User Account Information.
Profiles
All previously created profiles are listed in section Existing Profiles. In order to attach a profile to an account, select the account and click the desired profile in the list of existing profiles. The information to which profiler user account is currently assigned is displayed in Personal Information section in field Profile.
To add an account to Default profile
- Run MX-Client.
- Login using user account with administrative privileges.
- Click application menu button and select Control Panel.
- In section User Accounts click Profile Membership.
- Select the desired user account from the Existing User Accounts list.
- Click on Default profile in Existing Profiles list.
It is possible to see that profile is attached, based on the value in Profile field in Personal Information section.
